How far will we go to create the perfect interior for our clients? Metaphorically speaking, we will do whatever it takes. We frequently find ourselves eschewing the obvious solution, not because we enjoy making life difficult for ourselves, but because we prefer the individual, the quirky and the memorable.
Geographically, our travels can take us anywhere from the dusty marble yards of Carrara or a traditional potter’s firing in rural Wisconsin, to a joiner’s workshop in deepest Norfolk in pursuit of a rare oak trunk felled in a storm. We love commissioning individual pieces for our clients, not only for the satisfaction of creating something beautiful from the fragment of an idea roughed out on a sketch pad or gleaned from a citron hued coral branch seen whilst beachcombing, but also for the way it enables us to support and keep alive the skills of these talented craftsmen and women.
